The iconic Friends actor was seen sporting grey hair and a bushy beard in a casual look that was worlds away from his recent Blue Bloods character.

The show’s final season has already been filmed, leaving the actor able to change his hairstyle.

Tom, 79, wore a plain navy blue t-shirt layered underneath a matching linen shirt, adding black shorts and black trainers to his look as he strolled along clutching a file that appeared to contain some paperwork.

The Hollywood actor was also spotted heading to McDonald’s during the outing as he ordered a burger he ate from the comfort of his car in the parking lot.

The outing was the first time Tom has been seen in public since his hit detective drama Blue Bloods was canceled.

Following news of the show being axed Tom vowed that he would be spending more time at home with his wife of 41 years, Jillie.

The couple owns a 63-acre ranch in the Ventura County countryside which they purchased back in 1988.

Tom and Jillie raised their 35-year-old daughter Hannah on the sprawling property, and now, they are set to enjoy their golden years together in the picturesque tranquility it offers.

Shedding light on his downtime from the long-running CBS series, the actor revealed he’s an avid ATV rider, but largely just to circle the property and check on all of his wildflowers.
