Coronation Street teen Dylan Wilson has been arrested on suspicion of murder in the show’s latest episode.
The young character was hauled down to the police station following a dramatic intervention from his dad Sean Tully.
Corrie‘s teen characters are currently taking centre stage in a huge storyline, as Mason Radcliffe was stabbed in an altercation with his brothers Matty and Logan earlier this week.
Mason was rushed to hospital but tragically died from his injury, leaving the Weatherfield community in shock.
In Wednesday’s episode, Sean questioned Dylan’s nervous demeanour in the aftermath of the stabbing.
Dylan responded by confessing everything, admitting that the knife that was used to kill Mason belonged to him and he’d brought it to the scene of the crime.
Sean was devastated as Dylan recalled how he’d purchased the knife last year, believing that he was protecting himself amid Mason’s bullying and threats.
As Dylan now wanted to avoid the consequences, he begged Sean to help him go on the run.

Sean did the right thing by betraying Dylan for his own good, shopping him into the police before things got any further out of hand.
Although Sean believed that Dylan would only have to face the consequences of possessing a knife, DC Kit Green instead arrested the teenager on suspicion of murder.
During a tough interview at the police station, Dylan tried to convince Kit that Mason was killed by his brothers. He was later granted bail, but it was clear that the matter was far from over.
Kit told Sean: “Your son’s still a suspect in a murder inquiry. And even if he’s telling the truth, and it’s proven that he wasn’t directly involved in Mason Radcliffe’s death, he was still at a crime scene carrying a bladed article.”
Fearing the worst, Dylan asked: “So that’s it then. Whatever happens here, I’m getting sent down for this, aren’t I?”
Will Dylan be locked up for his role in what happened?
