John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) he is alive and well today.

Eric has actually made it long enough to get married and spend lots of time with Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis).

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers reveal that Eric isn’t see much these days but when he is, he is at his mansion or around the pool.

Eric doesn’t hardly go to the office, his last collection took a lot o out of him and he almost died besides. Eric is content to spend time with Donna and to allow the younger ones to run the company.

Eric wanted to step back away from the company and travel with Donna to places they haven’t see.

However, Eric is still involved in some of the day to day stuff that goes on at Forrester Creations. Eric especially put his two cents worth in on fate of Hope for the Future. Eric is still the boss no matter who is running the place.

John McCook hasn’t mentioned anything about retiring lately. As a matter of fact, it wasn’t too long ago that he was in a Christmas movie with his daughter.

John seems very happy working at Bold and doing other projects as well. Like most older actors he is probably doing the stories he likes while spending time on Bold as well.

The member of the Forrester family still need their patriarch no matter what and that is Eric’s job to keep them all in line.

Eric is there to mentor the younger generation and do whatever he can for everyone else. Right now, Eric is too valuable to simply let go when he can still do so much at the company and with his family.

Eric means a great deal to the fashion world as well. Eric is loved all over the world and everyone who buys from Forrester Creations was concerned about his health.

Eric has worked for years in this industry and has no intention of leaving it now. Eric wants to continue to work with Coutour for as long as he can.

Donna is certainly keeping an eye on Eric so he doesn’t overdo things when he is working. Donna doesn’t want another episode like Eric had last year when he almost died.

Will Eric be around to continue to work with Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) and RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) while they hone their skills? Bold fans hope to see Eric for years to come.
